Optometrist - Altoona Area

The Laurel Eye Clinic, a premier high volume surgical practice with 10 locations throughout western and central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time medical optometrist in the Altoona, PA area.  This is a unique opportunity to practice in a busy, multi-specialty practice while working directly with Ophthalmologists.  The ideal candidate must be hard-working, willing to travel, motivated, and be driven by patient-centered care.  We seek a clinically skilled candidate that would manage medical eye conditions, perform specialized testing, pre and post-operative care for refractive and cataract patients, along with routine eye care.   The Laurel Eye Clinic operates an optical boutique and an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Laurel Laser & Surgery Center, from this location. A competitive compensation package is offered along with future ownership potential. Applicants must possess a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school of optometry and be licensed to practice optometry in the state of PA. EOE

 

Patient Services Coordinator - LCPS - Part Time

Laurel Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery has an immediate part-time opportunity for a positive, team oriented and friendly individual to work as a Patient Services Coordinator. Duties include answering multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments, patient check in and check out processes using electronic health records. Excellent organizational, computer, telephone, and customer service skills required. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours. Position primarily at the Brookville and DuBois locations but includes occasional travel to our Duncansville location. Travel is compensated. Prior experience in a medical office and cosmetic sales preferred. EOE

 

Ophthalmic Technician - Grove City

The Laurel Eye Clinic, a premier provider of comprehensive eye care and medical aesthetic services in Northwestern and Central Pennsylvania, has a part-time or full-time career opportunity at the Grove City office as an Ophthalmic Technician.  Candidates must be positive, team oriented individuals dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Primary duties include data collection and documentation in EHR, chair-side doctor assistance, and performing diagnostic tests as required by the doctors.  Must be willing to work flexible hours and travel occasionally to provide coverage at other Laurel Eye Clinic locations as needed. Travel benefits are provided along with a competitive wage. Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician, LPN or individual with medical experience preferred. EOE

The Laurel Eye Clinic has a full-time or part-time career opportunity available as an Optician.

This position is based out of the Brookville office, but candidates must be willing to work flexible hours and travel to provide occasional coverage at other Laurel Eye Clinic locations as needed. Travel benefits are provided along with a competitive wage and full benefit package.

The Laurel Eye Clinic, a premier provider of comprehensive eye care and medical aesthetic services in Northwestern and Central Pennsylvania, has an immediate full-time opportunity at our Altoona area office as a Scribe and/or Ophthalmic Technician.

This position is based out of the Duncansville office, but candidates must be willing to work flexible hours and travel to provide occasional coverage at other Laurel Eye Clinic locations as needed such as the Johnstown, Bedford and Clearfield offices. Travel benefits are provided along with a competitive wage and full benefit package.

Candidates must be positive, team oriented individuals dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Primary duties include:

  • data collection and documentation in EHR
  • chair-side doctor assistance
  • performing diagnostic tests as required by the doctors

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician, Certified Scribe, LPN or individual with medical experience preferred. Training will be provided.  EOE

 

Surgical Coordinator

The Laurel Eye Clinic has an immediate opening for a Surgical Coordinator.   The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail.  The Surgical Coordinator works closely with patients to schedule surgery, answer questions and to arrange their surgical care and related paperwork.  This position will work at the Seneca, Grove City and Brookville offices.  Excellent customer service, computer skills, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.  Related experience in a medical office preferred.  EOE
