Registered Nurse - LLSC - Part Time

The Laurel Laser & Surgery Center in Duncansville has an opening for a part-time energetic and highly motivated Registered Nurse.  The ideal candidate will have experience with peripheral intravenous access and cardiac monitoring along with ASC experience: pre-op; PACU and/or circulating.  Benefits include daytime hours with no weekends or holidays.  Employment applications are available online at www.laureleye.com. Patient Services Coordinator - LEC - Full Time and Part Time

Positions are based out of the Brookville office but require compensated travel to surrounding locations.

Responsibilities include:

  • professional interactions with patients
  • understanding insurance benefits
  • answering multiple phone lines
  • scheduling appointments
  • performing duties related to the patient check in and check out process using electronic health records

Full-time and part-time career opportunities available.  Previous medical office experience is beneficial, but if you are dedicated to learning how to properly perform the responsibilities and providing excellent customer service, prior experience is not necessary.  EOE

 

Patient Services Coordinator - LCPS - Part Time

Laurel Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery has an immediate part-time opportunity for a positive, team oriented and friendly individual to work as a Patient Services Coordinator. Duties include answering multiple phone lines, scheduling appointments, patient check in and check out processes using electronic health records. Excellent organizational, computer, telephone, and customer service skills required. Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours. Position primarily at the Brookville and DuBois locations but includes occasional travel to our Duncansville location. Travel is compensated. Prior experience in a medical office and cosmetic sales preferred. EOE

 

Ophthalmic Technician - Brookville/DuBois/St. Marys area - Full Time or Part Time

Primary duties include data collection and documentation in EHR, chair-side doctor assistance, and performing diagnostic tests as required by the doctors.

The ideal candidate must have excellent computer skills, be professional, positive and team oriented, and must be committed to providing excellent patient care.  Also, must be willing to work flexible hours and travel to provide coverage at different Laurel Eye Clinic locations as needed. Travel benefits are provided along with a competitive wage. Full-time positions are offered a full benefit package.

Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician, LPN or individual with medical experience preferred. EOE

 

Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe - Altoona

Ophthalmic Clinical Team Leader - Altoona

Primarily responsible for efficient clinical flow, which includes providing clinical support by working as an ophthalmic technician as needed.

The ideal candidate must have excellent leadership and computer skills.  Must be professional, positive and team oriented, and must be committed to providing excellent patient care.  The position is primarily at the Duncansville office, but occasional travel is required.  Travel benefits are provided along with a competitive wage and a full benefit package.

LPN or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician with prior supervisory experience preferred.
