Louis D. “Skip” Nichamin, MD,
the Medical Director of the Laurel Eye Clinic and the Laurel Laser & Surgery
Centers, has broad surgical experience including posterior segment procedures,
but focuses on cataract and refractive (vision correction). Dr. Nichamin, a Board
certified ophthalmologist, is an active member of the American Society of Cataract
and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO),
the International Society of Refractive Keratoplasty and the American College of
Eye Surgeons. Dr. Nichamin is the Representative for the American Acadamy of
Ophthalmology Board of Councilors and has served as the Chairperson of the
Cataract Clinical Committee, ASCRS.

Stewart VanHorn, MD,
Is a Board certified ophthalmologist with clinical, surgical and refractive surgery
experience. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the UCLA Jules
Stein Institute and then completed a fellowship in refractive and corneal surgery
at the Sinsky Eye Institute in California prior to joining the Laurel Eye Clinic in 2000.
Dr. VanHorn specializes in cataract and refractive (vision correction) surgery.

Jeffrey L. Bezier, MD,
is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist with over 20 years experience in western
Pennsylvania. Dr. Bezier is a graduate of Princeton University and Columbia
University. He completed his residency at Wills Eye Institute. Dr. Bezier also
served in the Medical Corps of the US Army. Dr. Bezier cares for patients in the
Butler, Grove City, Seneca, and Brookville offices. He currently performs cataract
and other ophthalmic procedures at Butler Memorial Hospital, Grove City Medical
Center, and the Laurel Laser & Surgery Center.
